I’m Tran Khanh Duong, you can call me John, it will much more easy for you. I graduated from Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry.
I’ve worked part-time for Tropenbos International, where I learned and worked with many excellent colleagues, this is the first step I go in my life. Thanks for all.
After graduated, I joined in a training course from CI and get a Small grant for my research. And after that, join in WWF- it’s great opportunity for me. The most successful research are about: “Grey-shanked doucs” in Quang Nam forest. I do the research with the help from two very experienced experts: Dr. Barney Long and Dr. Ben Rawson. We found the biggest population of grey-shanked doucs – one of the world’s 25 most endangered primates. I will never forget that feeling.
Working for WWF and learn from many good colleagues, I feel the life become greener and love to work there. But the life is always moving. I have to change my home to Ho Chi Minh City with my family, and I have to find out the way to work in Conservation in future. I want to earn money and continue with study at certain university to get more academic knowledge, finish MBA and continuing with research about conservation and bring some more green to the world.
I see the my soul chance, I see the world chance, I see I waste my life, I see the environment angry. How to make the world become more green and pay the debt for our children? Love nature and world in green office.
